     Irish Chuckler. . .

An attractive blonde from Dublin arrived at a Las Vegas casino and
bet $20,000 on a single roll of the dice.

She said, “I hope you don’t mind, but I feel much luckier when I
completely nude” With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled
the dice and yelled, “Come on, Baby, Mama needs new clothes!” As
    the
dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and squealed, “Yes, Yes,
    I Won, I Won!”

She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and
her clothes and quickly departed. The dealers stared at each other
    dumbfounded.

Finally, one of them asked, “What did she roll?” The other
    answered,”I don’t know. . . I thought you were watching!”

    Morale of the story:

Not all Irish are stupid and not all blondes are dumb, but all men,
    are men!

Jon Stewart - Spam Boner Pill Ad

    By Bloggaman | June 27, 2008 3:23 am

I haven’t shared any highlights from The Daily Show With Jon Stewart so I thought it was time.

This first video talks about an EPA email that is sent to the White House and the White House won’t open it. They then rewrite the policy to please the White House and to get them to read the email. It is like the EPA sent the White House one of those Spam Boner Pill Ad’s.

Healing With Faith - Are You Kidding Me?

    By Bloggaman | June 26, 2008 3:13 am

A 16-year old boy isn’t feeling well. He has actually been sick for about a week when his condition gets worse. To try and help his family gathers and they pray for divine intervention so his condition will improve. He doesn’t improve and he dies from his illness. I wish I could say this story was made up but it wasn’t. This actually happened and a young boy did actually die of something that a doctor could have easily treated.

I have heard a lot about faith healing lately. In fact, it was only 3 months ago in March that the boys cousin, a 15-month old baby died from bronchial pneumonia and a blood infection.

Vacation Series: Part 3 - Affordable (or Free) Things To Do On Vacation

    By Bloggaman | June 25, 2008 3:41 am

When I go on vacation we always find fun things to do and many times we look for activities that can be done affordably. For one, I have a lot of kids and I don’t want to spend $500 each time we do something. Most big cities have amusement parks, water parks, and many other activities but they often charge $30 to $60 per person to enjoy them. While we will do those on occasion we don’t usually do them all.

Vacation Series: Part 2 - My Dream Vacation Spots

    By Bloggaman | June 24, 2008 8:11 am

Yesterday I covered my top 10 vacations thus far. It included a couple when I was a kid with the rest being after I was an adult with a majority with my wife and kids. Today I am going to talk about my top places I want to visit.

Now this may be cheating but I am allowed to choose places that I have been before. You have to think that if I liked it enough the first time and want to go back, it could be worth your time to go visit as well. Wouldn’t you agree?

    By Bloggaman | June 21, 2008 3:52 am

    MEN ARE JUST HAPPIER PEOPLE:

    NICKNAMES

    • If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and  Sarah.
    • If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Godzilla and Four-eyes.

    EATING OUT

    • When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in $20, even though it’s only for $32.50.  None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back.
    • When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.

    Flooding In The Midwest

    By Bloggaman | June 20, 2008 3:09 am

The other day I showed you a few pictures from Cedar Rapids and the flooding that was occurring at the time. Things have calmed a lot in Cedar Rapids and now the trouble is further south. Iowa City is seeing increased river levels and worst yet is Columbus Junction.

Cedar Rapids was flooded by the Cedar River. Iowa City has the Iowa River. Columbus Junction is where both of those rivers meet. They have all kinds of trouble there and after what I saw in Cedar Rapids, I feel for them. I wish them well and hope they can make it through this tough time. This is the type of flood that can devastate a city.

Why The Opposition To Gay Marriage?

    By Bloggaman | June 17, 2008 3:25 am

I saw a story on Yahoo yesterday that mentioned all the same-sex couples that were marrying in California. I applaud the decision by California. I am not gay so you may wonder why I care about a law in California. Well I have always been for gay marriage since it became a bigger issue a couple years ago.

Massachusetts was the first state to legalize gay marriage and now California is the second. There has been a mad rush again for gay couples to get married under this change in the law. It isn’t a surprise. Many of these couples have been together for decades and finally see a chance to marry. I don’t blame them.
