    A Final Four First

    By Bloggaman | March 31, 2008

It finally happened. I find it hard to believe it hadn’t happened in the past but it hasn’t. The NCAA Tournament Final Four is set and for the first time ever it consists of all four #1 seeds. What this also means is that the tournament selection committee got it right. They decided on the four best teams and those four teams proved to be the four best.

When I was watching the tournament selection show on CBS, after the seedings were released the hosts made their picks. Clark Kellogg picked all four #1 seeds. He said he always did it but I don’t know if that was true. At this point I would be saying I hadn’t done it before so I could look like a genius. I am sure many people picked four #1’s but I sure didn’t. I picked UNC and UCLA is every bracket I did. I picked Memphis to join them in one bracket and Kansas to join them in the other.

Any NCAA tourney fans can relax again. It is another hiatus until next Saturday when the final two teams will be decided. The big championship game will be played a week from tonight. No matter who makes it to the final game it will be a great game.

    North Carolina vs. Kansas

    UCLA vs. Memphis

As I stated earlier, I have UNC vs. UCLA in both of my brackets. I haven’t seen anything that would make me change my mind yet. All four teams have played very well and I can’t wait until next week. It is going to be a great Final Four.
